General Assembly Sessions
The General Assembly at the 20th ASSITEJ World Congress will take place online to allow the best possible participation for all members. Under the details of each session below members can view the recorded elements before each of the five 90 minute live sessions.
Participation
National Centres, ASSITEJ Networks and individual members are invited to attend the General Assembly with a delegation of up to three persons. Full members are encouraged to participate with three persons whenever possible.
Additional members of the National Centres and Networks can participate as observers without voting right. All other members can follow the Assembly in the live streaming on the Facebook page of ASSITEJ.
Only National Centres and Networks who are up to date with membership fee payments including the year of the General Assembly can exercise the right to vote.

The deadline for paying any outstanding fees is 20 March 2021.
Registration
Registration will take place on this website. All delegates should register separately for each session after which they will receive a link to the Zoom Session. Up to three delegates from each National Centre and Network can take part. Individual members can take part without the right to vote. National Centres or ASSITEJ Networks with corresponding membership are allowed to have a delegation of three members but can only cast one vote during the Assembly.
Registration closes 24 hours before the start of each session.
VOTING
The voting of Executive Committee Members and Bids for the 21st ASSITEJ World Congress and will take place by email vote outside of the meeting.
Session 1
This first session of the General Assembly will operate as an Open Space format. This is a working meeting for members that will be focussed on the working plan 2021-2024.
The session will have automated English captioning and translation in Japanese, Spanish, French and Russian.

Session 2
Session 2 will start the formal agenda and cover the following items:
